Dr. Megha Goyal is a seasoned biophysicist and drug discovery scientist with over a decade of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She earned her Ph.D. from IIT Delhi and brings global research experience from leading institutes, including NCL (Pune, India) and IMS, SOKENDAI (Okazaki, Japan). Her expertise spans Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Cell Biology, with a specialized focus on novel in-vitro assay development and biomolecular interaction studies across diverse chemical modalities to accelerate therapeutic discovery.
Passionate about translating complex science into impactful solutions, Dr. Goyal thrives on collaborative innovation. During her tenure at Aurigene Oncology, she led and contributed to multiple drug discovery programs from target ideation to regulatory submissions, working closely with pharma-biotech companies across the US, Europe, and Japan. Her work has supported the development of multiple clinical candidates and development candidates, underscoring her proven track record in delivering high-value therapeutic solutions.
Dr. Goyal’s scientific contributions, as both an individual researcher and a team leader, across academia and industry have earned her 11 publications, a patent, competitive research scholarships (CSIR-India; GATE-India; SOKENDAI-Japan), multiple international travel grants (from IIT Delhi, DST-India, and DBT-India), and 10 honours & awards.
