With a strong foundation in in vitro pharmacology, she has led teams to successfully drive projects by coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders and ensuring the delivery of organizational objectives. Her hands-on expertise encompasses novel cell biology techniques, 3D cell culture systems, biophysics, biochemistry, and immunology assays, alongside a deep proficiency in assay development, data analysis, interpretation, and troubleshooting. During her tenure at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, she made significant contributions to assay innovation in biophysics and immunology-driven research.
Akshata holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Mumbai University, and has worked at renowned research institutions such ACTREC, which underpins her scientific rigor and leadership in multidisciplinary R&D programs.
